This timeline provides a documentary record of the Teutopolis CUSD #50 facilities planning process, from the initial strategic priorities established in 2022 through the professional assessments and community feedback that shaped the current School Building Bond proposition.

2022: Strategic planning identifies facilities and community engagement as District priorities.

2024: Health/Life Safety review and broader building assessment identify and prioritize facility needs. Enrollment trends are reviewed alongside building needs.

November 2024: Countywide 1% sales-tax proposal is unsuccessful.

2025: District continues addressing projects it can accomplish with existing resources and works through Grade School capacity issues.

2025–26: Grade School expansion and TJHS work prepare for sixth grade to relocate.

August 2026: Sixth grade begins the 2026–27 school year at TJHS.

August 2026: Board places the $15 million School Building Bond proposition on the November 3 ballot.
