Dear TitanNation Families and Friends,
As we prepare to welcome students back for a new school year, this issue of TitanNation arrives at the perfect moment—a pause between what was and what’s about to be. It offers us a chance to reflect on the remarkable journeys of those who’ve just graduated and to remind ourselves why the work we do together continues to matter so deeply.
Inside these pages, you’ll meet members of the Class of 2025 who represent the very best of Monmouth-Roseville. Students like Matthew, Camila, Sawyer, Treasure, Aiden, and Anders, whose stories reveal not just academic talent, but resilience, reflection, and a strong desire to serve something greater than themselves. Whether pursuing careers in music, medicine, psychology, law, or engineering, they’ve carried with them the values and perspective that define this district.
You’ll also hear from those whose stories arc across decades—educators like Mindy Youngquist and Donna Spears, who have shaped generations of learners; community leaders like Josh Gibb and P.J. Brooks, whose quiet service makes this region stronger; and visionaries like Ralph Whiteman, whose Hall of Achievement continues to honor the everyday heroes among us.
Together, these voices remind us that learning doesn’t end at graduation—and neither does our connection to the people and principles that raised us. As our newest graduates take their next steps, we hope they carry the spirit of TitanNation with them. And as we open our doors to a new class of learners this fall, we do so with renewed purpose.
Thank you for your continued support of the Monmouth-Roseville schools. This is a district shaped not only by the strength of its instruction, but by the strength of its relationships—with families, with neighbors, and with the communities we proudly serve.
Here’s to another great year ahead.
Warmly,
Edward Fletcher, Superintendent
Monmouth-Roseville CUSD #238
