Dear Titan Community,

As we approach the close of another school year, I find myself reflecting on the meaningful work that defines our district. This issue of TitanNation captures the essence of what makes Monmouth-Roseville special – our people and their commitment to building a stronger community.

Throughout these pages, you'll discover stories that showcase the heart of our educational mission. The Pattee Learning Center demonstrates how dedicated tutors help students build confidence through foundational skills. In our classrooms, from Karyn Beavers' third-graders debating dwarf planets to the innovative Freshman On Track program achieving a 95% success rate, we see education coming alive through engagement and support.

Our students continue to impress with their leadership and initiative. The sixth-grade Advisory Team organizes food drives and school events with remarkable maturity. Meanwhile, Titan TV has grown from a small elective to a vibrant program where students create broadcasts, cover sports, and produce podcasts that amplify our community's voice.

The dedication of our staff, like "gentle giant" Joe Pilger, who was rightfully named Citizen of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce, reminds us how caring leadership transforms our schools. For 50 years, Art Presenters have carried red bags into classrooms, ensuring creativity remains part of every child's education. Music directors Lisa Fornoff and Emily Pickrell nurture both technical skill and artistic expression in our students.

I'm particularly moved by stories like the Eaker family, whose journey through adversity illustrates profound resilience, and the Vicente-Larios family, who traveled from Spain to enrich our community through cultural exchange.

As our hallways prepare for summer's quiet, I want to thank each of you for contributing to the tapestry that is Monmouth-Roseville. Whether you're a student, staff member, parent, or community partner, you've helped create a district where learning thrives and connections matter.

The knowledge shared, skills developed, and relationships built this year will remain long after the final bell rings. I hope you'll read this issue with pride, recognizing your part in our collective success.

With appreciation and Titan Pride,

Edward Fletcher, Superintendent Monmouth-Roseville Schools
