Dear Momence Schools Community,

I am delighted to welcome you to the latest edition of our magazine, The One. Each issue is a reflection of our vibrant school community, and this edition is particularly special as it showcases several remarkable, unsung individuals who are the heartbeat of our schools.

In these pages, you'll meet several of our outstanding students whose achievements and endeavors exemplify the excellence we strive for in Momence Schools. Their stories, ranging from academic and vocational triumphs to artistic and athletic pursuits, highlight the diverse talents and resilience that our students possess.

This issue also celebrates the contributions of our dedicated educators. We're proud to feature profiles of both dedicated teachers who have been pillars of our educational community, as well as some of our newer faculty members who bring fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Our administrative support team members and education specialists are behind the scenes of some of our schools’ most important moments and we share several of their stories here. This issue gives a glimpse into their daily commitment and the pivotal roles they play in supporting our students’ educational journeys and wellbeing.

A highlight of this issue is the story of a very special community volunteer. This individual has forged a significant school-community connection to honor our veterans. Their efforts not only pay tribute to our heroes but also instill a sense of civic pride and history in our students.
